      How do I get involved?
Just pick up the phone and call your Area or County Secretary
      and find out more.
Forming a new Area for young people in your community!
It's easier than you think! If your local area isn't represented in Community Games why not get it started!

All you need to do is:
  • Create the widest possible interest in your area amongst the general public, agencies, community associations, sporting organisations, businesses, schools, youth clubs, etc. Existing county members will help you do this
  • Establish a local Area Committee, allocating tasks to suit individual talents, experience and areas of interest
  • Affiliate the Area to the County Community Games Committee
  • Get local children involved in activities... don't forget to encourage parents to become involved.

  • To set up a new area you need to :
Get a map of your proposed area e.g. from your local council.
Outline the area on a map, using a black marker and submit it to the County Executive Committee Include list of townlands and streets where necessary.Ensure that the area boundaries do not encroach on other areas.
